Complaints: The patient presented with severe hair loss, allergic skin reactions, dry lips, mouth ulcers, and piles. Having undergone two hair transplants in 2020 and 2022, with 12,000 hair grafts implanted, the desired results were not achieved. Subsequent PRP treatments and local Minoxidil therapy yielded unsatisfactory results. The transplanted hair remained stiff, impacting the patient’s confidence. Post the second hair transplant session, he experienced swelling and redness on his face.
Diagnosis: Diagnosed with ‘Khalitya’ (hair fall), ‘Palitya’ (whitening of hair), and ‘Pith pradhan rakt dushti’ (impure blood), the decision was made at ‘Ancient Secret’ to employ leech therapy for treating hair loss.
Treatment Plan: A treatment plan of 15 sessions over six months, with a 15-day interval, was recommended. This included leech therapy sessions along with local applications and internal ayurvedic medicines.
Outcome: After just two sessions, the patient experienced reduced fluffiness and swelling on the face. By the third session, the early transplanted hair became soft and manageable
